Introduction
No Frontiers is the game of space combat where anything goes, custom build starships, kitbash or simply use ships straight out of whatever box or blister you like. The scale of the models used is not particularly important so long as a ship can be recognised for what it is.
Two initial versions are in the works. One genre is based around the Star Trek universe and uses Star Trek Micro Machines whilst the second is set in the Battlestar Galactic universe and uses models from a number of sources.
Each ship will have a profile that details its movement, performance and weaponry. Each player takes it in turn to activate a ship or squadron of ships. Each ship or squadron is moved and may fire weapons. Players alternate the activation of ships until all have been activated, then a new turn starts.
Star Trek (The Roddenverse)
Most ships in the Star Trek universe utilise shields as their primary defence, consequently, the ships will be high on protective shields to prevent damage and low on structure and armour.

Galaxy Class
The main armament for ships of this genre is phaser based, be they called disruptors or lasers. There are also missile type weapons, often termed photon and quantum torpedoes.
Colonial Wars (Battlestar Galactica)
Ships from the Colonial Wars genre feature a different technological background. These ships rely on armour and defensive batteries to prevent damage. They also rely on much smaller fighter craft to launch missiles against targets and attack enemy fighter craft. Fighter craft are formed into flights usually consisting of one to six craft per base.

Battlestar Class Captial Ship
The Cylon Captial ships are packed with fighter craft and although they cannot take as much damage as a Colonial Battlestar, they can continuously produce new Cylon fighter craft.
The Shipyard
If you are familiar with No Quarter and No Limits, then you will already be aware that the backbone of both systems is the ability to create custom forces using any and all miniatures in your collection. No Frontiers will be no different. Using the Shipyard construction rules, you can scratch build a ship or work out a profile based on an existing model.

Star Wars Corellian Corvette
One area that should prove interesting is the facility to design a ship from scratch. Quite literally take odds and ends from your bits box and construct a starship.
In space, there are No Frontiers...
