Grymn Conversions

Converting models is one of the best aspects of the miniatures hobby. It does not have to be a major undertaking, even a simple conversion to a model can greatly enhance the appearance and provide some uniqueness to your force.

Kristian
So you may have noticed that "Kristian" is not a sci-fi Grymn model but a fantasy dwarf model. When putting the army together, it seemed that a standout character was required. Kristian, armed with his massive sword (for a dwarf) made a great choice. His pointing hand could be easily modified to hold a ranged weapon of some description. Also a helmet could be added to his "belt" or the base.

Kristian Components With Extra Bits

Decided to go for a confident pose, with Kristian doing an impersonation of a ganger and holding the gun sideways!

Kristian conversion with ranged weapon

The helmet ended up on the base rather than his belt, but other than that, the hand took the weapon very well and the finished model adds some variety to the rest of the Grymn.
