TheGrymn Army

Heavy Weapons
The Grymn have creatd a variety of support weapons, more so than perhaps any other race. Partly so the Grymn can earn hard currency from trading weapons to less technological races and partly to ensure their survival against the many powerful forces of the universe.

Chaingun
The Chaingun is an electrically powered, chain driven, automatic heavy weapon. It is fed by a metallic link belt and has dual-feed munitions capability. The ammunition cans hold up to 400 rounds of Armour Penetrating ammunition. The Chaingun can be installed or removed in three parts: the barrel assembly; the feeder assembly; and the receiver assembly thus making field maintenance a reasonably painless task. The gun has both electrical and manual fire control and can be operated electrically or manually.

Grenade Launcher
The Grenade Launcher was originally designed as a close support weapon for infantry. It was intended to bridge the gap between the maximum throwing distance of a hand grenade, and the lowest range of supporting mortar fire.

The Grenade Launcher is a single shot, shoulder fired, break-barrel loading weapon which fires a spherical 85mm diameter grenade. The grenade is partially stabilised in flight by the spin imparted on it by the rifled barrel. The grenade is automatically armed shortly after leaving the barrel.

Heavy Pulse Gun
The Pulse Gun is the standard weapon for the Heavy Infantry and it did not take long for the Grymn Engineers to create an even heavier version. The Heavy Pulse Gun requires a substantial power source to fire the munitions, but the effectiveness of the weapon has exceeded all expectations.

Heavy Machine Gun Team
Teams of two Grymn Infantry are often assigned as fire support specialists. The belt fed Heavy Machine Gun can be operated by a single trooper, but with a ammo feeder, the chances of jams are greatly reduced.
