The Hydrissians are a range of sci-fi alien models produced by Alpha Forge Games. The Hydrissians are a race of technologically advanced lizard like creatures. They stand about the same height as a human and are bipedal in nature although they have evolved without a tail, common in other lizard species. Their dexterous hands have allowed them to master complex construction processes and build a very efficient industrial base. To defend their territory, they have developed a range of unusual and innovative weapons systems along with sophisticated armour and jump pack systems. Standard Infantry (model © Alpha Forge Games) Infantry units are lightly armoured with a small carapace but also benefit to some extent of their naturally tough hide. Sentinel Jump Trooper (model © Alpha Forge Games) Sentinel Jump Troopers are elite close combat specilaists. Their Jump Packs allow them to cover distance quickly and actually affords them extra protection. Their Lance combi-weapon allows them to make ranged attacks as well as charging into combat with devastating effect. Cyclone Heavy Infantry (model © Alpha Forge Games) The heavy infantry are the Cyclone Assault warriors. Indredibly tough armour makes the Cyclones as tough as a vehicle. Cyclone warriors carry either a close combat barbed lance or the powerful Thump Gun. Minigun Heavy Weapon Platform (model © Alpha Forge Games) Hydrissians deploy heavy weapon platforms equipped with Heavy Machine Guns or Nova bomb missile launchers.
