Hydrissian Models
This section deals with the construction of the Hydrissian models from Alpha Forge Games.

All of the Hydrissian models from Alpha Forge Games are multi part.
Infantry Squad
The standard infantry squad is essential to any force. Several squads are better of course. The infantry squad consists of 5 models, all different. All of the heads are separate and varied making a nice choice when putting together more than one squad.
There is a squad leader/diplomat with a ranged weapon (Dissembler Gun), three soldiers each with a ranged weapon and a single heavy weapon soldier.

The Heavy Weapon model had a large weapon only being supported by a single joint. I decided to drill and pin the shoulder joint to give it extra strength.

Noble
The Noble is a three part model consisting of body, head and staff weapon.

Cyclones
There are two heavily armoured Hydrissian models, one close combat specialist and one armed with a ranged weapon (the brilliantly named Thump Gun).
Both models share the same torso and leg components with just the arms and weapons being different.

Each model is also provided with an exposed head and an enclosed head, so you have the choice as to how much armour is worn.

I had a bit of trouble with the arms on both of the Cyclone models. I found the arms fouled on the leg shields thus preventing the arms from aligning with the weapon. In the end, and after several attempts, I bent the short linking arms a bit to reposition it and give a better fit. The Cyclone with the spear weapon was left with a small gap at the shoulder, but a bit of filler disappeared that...

Arachnid Weapons Platorm
When standard weapons just don't get the job done, it is time for the Arachnid Weapons Platform to be called in to provide that extra punch.
The model is one of the more complex miniatures but is reasonably easy to construct. The tripod legs all go together easily enough and then it is a case of building the weapon array. Keeping the gunner and weapon separate for painting will help a great deal.

The model shown here has the Nova Bombard weapon system. Another is avialable with twin Miniguns (Heavy Machine Guns) if required.

Sentinels
The Sentinels are the fast attack jump pack troops (I have to admit that these are my favourite of the Hydrissians, well, these and the Cyclones...).
The Sentinel Lances are actually combination weapons providing ranged weapon capability and close combat hitting power.
There are three different models and with the choice of heads and the positioning of the weapon, it is possible to make a number of versions of each model so that they all look different.

Engineers
There are several engineer models available, each with a specialist role and dedicated equipment.
One engineer carries a large Shield Generator on his back able to protect a nearby unit from ranged attacks.
The Shield Generator simply fits to the back of the engineer. The engineer is armed with the same weapon as the standard infantry and so it is likely he will accompany an infantry unit.

The support engineer with the Mortar and Remote Machine Gun is a really nice set of models. The main weapon is the two part mortar which will probably be mounted onto a base. The two Machine Guns are very small, but mounted onto bases they will make for useful extra firepower. Also included in the pack is a supply crate with a separate lid.

The final engineer is supplied with two drone models, one with a ranged weapon attachment and the other with a control mechanism of some sort. It will most likely gets used as a scanner drone in the No Limits Hydrissian army.
