Siege! Living Dead vs Regency
Two siege towers, a covered battering ram and a horde of skeletons laid siege to the heavily defended Regency castle of Equus Tor. With the entire compliment of Regency cavalry on a raid against a Living Dead encampment to the North, the castle was defended by units of swordsmen, crossbowmen and the renowned artillery units.

The stage is set.
Having left the Living Dead encampment earlier than expected, the assult force had avoided running into the Regency Knights. Their massed ranks formed up for an assault on Equus Tor with little chance of a counter attack.

The Regency crossbowmen and artillery prepared themselves for the oncoming horde. The Crossbowmen divided themselves across the castle walls and towers.

Regency defenders.
The Living Dead Siege Tower was packed full of skeletons with plenty pushing the tower from behind. A few archers were positioned on the top of the tower to harry the castle defenders with arrows as the tower advanced.

How many skeletons?
Continued crossbow and cannon fire reduced the numbers of skeletons drastically. Many of the units advancing without the aid of any cover were easy targets for the sharp eyed Regency soldiers.

The numbers are being reduced...
As the crossbowmen poured bolts into the oncoming horde, the rock droppers were ready to deliver their payload...

Drop those rocks!
The Grey Wizard was positioned on a central tower to cast his magic at the Living Dead units. Particularly effective was the Fire Ball as it blasted large numbers of packed skeletons in the siege towers.
