Core Units
The bulk of the Kothena armed forces consist of the standing regiments of the Ironfang Pikemen, the Musketmen and the conscripted Longswords.

Longswords
The Longswords are lightly armoured soldiers armed with a two-handed Broadsword. These warriors give the Kothena armed forces some depth and flexibility in holding important positions and performing many garrison duties.

Musketmen
The Musketmen Regiments are often called the "Widowmakers" as their long range muskets can pick off enemy soldiers at will. With the addition of the Scope, their accuracy is legendary.

Ironfang
The Ironfang Pikemen are very heavily armoured and equipped with a deadly explosive tipped Battle Pike. The cost of their armour and weaponry means the Ironfang Pikemen are a rare unit and only utilised on important missions.

Mechanics
With the reliance on steam power, the mechanics who accompany the War Walkers often form into bands of angry maniacs who will attack without mercy any enemy who attacks one of their beloved machines.
