Khothena
The province of Khothena is located in the frozen lands to the north of the Regency realm. Although the Khothenians have close ties to the Regency, border disputes between the aristocracies of the two realms are not unheard of.
In the hash climate of the icey mountains and the snow covered plains, the Khothenians have come to rely on their technological expertise in the use of steam power. Consequently, their industrial might is considerable and they supply armour and weapons to a number of allies.

The use of steam power in the Khothenian armed forces is widespread. From the giant manned War Walkers to the tactical Steamator battlefield armour, the Khothenian forces do not rely on speed, but survivability.

Authors Note On Converting The Khador to The Republic Of Khothena
At the end of 2002, Privateer Press released a few hundred preview models for their War Machine miniatures game. I was lucky enough to obtain the Khador starter set consisting of the Warcaster Sorscha, a Juggernaut Warjack and a Destroyer Warjack. Since then, I have been hooked on the Khador models.
The Khador name has been replaced with the name Khothena so the No Quarter background can develop its own character and feel.
The War Machine game has the Warjacks as being magically controlled. For the No Quarter version of the Khador force, I wanted to make the Warjacks into War Walkers and have them as piloted vehicles so the standard rules for "large models" would apply.
All of the Khador characters are magic users in the War Machine rules, but as magic plays less of a part in the No Quarter system and magic is not required to keep the War Walkers running, both the Dark Prince and The Butcher were created as tough heroes and not magic users. Sorscha was the only named character to be retained as a magic user. All of the characters have also been renamed.
In addition to the standard figures from the War Machine range, I wanted to include some old fantasy models as additional Core units. These will be added over the coming months to build a diverse force for the Khothenian army to select from. These would include some basic infantry units and perhaps some militia style units.
