No Quarter Kingdoms

Hex Map Maker

Map Counters
Matt Lyon No Quarter Kingdoms takes No Quarter into the realm of strategic gaming. By using No Quarter Kingdoms and the supplemental campaign rules, players can not only link battles with evolving armies, but actually create scenarios based on an ever evolving global scale. No Quarter Kingdoms uses hex-maps and simple game mechanics to allow players to raise armies and build empires. See the interactive Map Maker created by Matt which accompanies this document.

House Rules Colin Matthews and Roland Jutei UPDATED: 22nd July 2003 This document contains some very good house rules devised by Colin and his wargames group. Some of these may well be adopted as official updates for the next version of the No Quarter rules.

Unit Card Concepts Chris Gilders I have been using playing card sized summary inserts for deck protector sleevs for many years now for such games and WFB, Warzone, Vor and others. With the advent of Confrontaion, Dark Age and War Machine, it would seem they are all the rage. This word document has a test layout for unit cards for No Quarter. The main central portion of each card holds the model profile detail. The player then has a choice as to which addtional side to use. The right hand panel will just hold and image of the model and the left hand panel more details on any special rules for the specific model.

Future Open Source Files
Even more open source files are scheduled for release in the future as they become available. Some work in progress is nothing more than an idea or list of scribbled ideas. Once they are in some sort of order and make sense to someone other than myself, I will release them here for discussion purposes.

In the meantime, here is a short list of projects to be completed.
  • No Quarter Dungeoneer. Rules for using much smaller numbers of models in dungeons and caverns.
  • Campaign rules for No Quarter. Individuals and units can gain experience and improve their skills and abilities over several battles.
  • Elemental Army List (just waiting on some i-Kore models).
  • Dragyri Army List (using the superb models from the Dark Age range).
